Computers and electronic devices will be provided by the centre and there is no need to bring your own devices or materials!
No food is included with the camps.
We do provide 2 breaks during half day camps.
If your child is staying the full day, please provide them with a lunch which can be eaten at 12pm to 12:30pm. No additional cost for supervision during lunch.
Please note we are a nut-free facility!

Question: Will my child use their own account for the Roblox camps?
Answer: Yes, we encourage them to come prepared with their own login and password if they wish to use it. Roblox will ask for 2-factor authentication and send a code to the email that was used to make the account. We ask that you stay at the centre until they are logged in. If they are unable to use their own account we have “house” accounts or we can create one for them.
Question: Do you accommodate neurodivergent learners?
Answer: Yes, we sure do! Although our staff does not have specialized training for neurodivergent learners, we do provide specific training on how to engage with neurodivergent children. All members of our staff have worked with kids through tutoring, camps, etc... We ask parents for input, and in rare situations, if a child is having a tough time, we will not hesitate to contact a parent to seek their advice or have them be picked up early. Our goal is to be inclusive, accepting, and supportive in every way we can so all kids may experience the joy of camp!
Question: What is your Refund Policy?
Answer: There are NO REFUNDS within 2 wks of the start date for camps, as capacity is limited and we are unable to recover that loss. A credit can be placed on file for a later date and will expire within a year. The credit is non-transferable and has no cash value. The credit maybe used for any Code Ninjas Guelph program. An admin fee of $35+tax will be charged to process any refunds.
Question: What is your Cancellation Policy?
Answer: If your child cannot make it to this event, email the centre two weeks before the event start date and we can either transfer your child to another event (subject to availability) or give you a credit voucher to be used for a future Code Ninjas Program.
Question: What are the Drop-off and Pick-up times?
Answer: AM camp drop-off time between 8:45a to 9a. AM camp pick-up time between 12p to 12:15p.
PM camp drop-off time between 12:15p to 12:30p. PM camp pick-up time between 3:30p to 3:45p.
Question: What is your Late Pick-Up Policy
Answer: Any late pick-ups after 15 minutes will automatically be charged $25 for each instance. Before and Aftercare is available for a fee, please contact centre at guelphonca@codeninjas.com.
Question: Are there any outdoor activities?
Answer: We may go outside to our patio to get some fresh air and do some activities, weather permitting.

JR Inventors Workshop
Ages 5-7
This Camp is all about teaching and empowering kids to become the makers and creators of their own hands-on STEM projects! From electric playdough to marble machines and tall towers, Ninjas will use a variety of fun tools and activities to develop their engineering and design skills.
Inventors with Makey Makey
Ages 8+
Created for our youngest Ninjas, in this camp kids will use a Makey Makey circuit board and household materials, to learn about electronics, game controllers, and how hardware and software interact. Ninjas will work together to create, reflect, and share their work as they invent new ways to interact with computers!
Block Builders Adventure Camp
(with Roblox and Minecraft)
Ages 5-7
Ninjas will explore game design in Minecraft and Roblox, entering pre-built worlds with activities that teach key concepts about replicating the physical world in games. Topics covered include building construction, communities, flight simulation, and more.

For seasoned Minecraft players, this camp transforms Ninjas into game masters, customizing tools, weapons, enemies, and more. By camp's end, Ninjas can export their mods using Minecraft® Java Edition for friends and family to enjoy at home.
Laser Engraving and Cutting
Ages 8+
CNC and Laser Engraving is a popular technique in Digital Fabrication, and our camp will provide an amazing opportunity for your child to learn all about it. They will get hands-on experience with our Trotec laser machine, designing unique patterns on paper or computer and watching as they are engraved onto wood. Plus, they get to take their creations home!

Tailored for older Ninjas, this camp utilizes TinkerCAD to teach coding, design, and 3D printing. Ninjas explore their creativity, crafting custom models such as bubble wands and phone stands. Ninjas will spend the week designing and printing models to fill their 3D Dojo with wonderful creations.
Creative Design Studio
Ages 8+
This camp provides a creative outlet for Ninjas to highlight their digital art skills. Detailed asset design and user interface features are critical in turning a good game into a great one! Ninjas in this Camp will tinker with a variety of tools to create their own detailed image, animation, and tilemap assets to use in their projects.
Future Minds AI Academy
Ages8+
Prepare your children for a future shaped by AI. Our camp teaches the fundamentals of Al development and application through a variety of activities in coding, games, and robotics. Ninjas will use their growing knowledge of Al to develop their own creations.
Design & UV Printing
Ages 8+
UV Printing is a printing technique that uses UV curing ink to print on a wide variety of materials. This is an incredibly versatile printing process and is fast, efficient and incredibly effective. Your kids will use a design software to create their ideas and then we will assist them in printing them on stickers, wood, and other materials!

Join us for this camp where ninjas will learn more advanced design program called Blender. Ninjas in this Camp can explore their creative skills, and creating custom models!
