What does a camp day look like?
All camps are full day:
9:00am-3:30pm
In the morning, camp will focus on coding and learning within the themes of each week.
After lunch, the environment will be more relaxed, with activities that vary according to theme, including video and board games, crafts, puzzles, and other activities.

Please note that you cannot transfer camps between our two Rochester locations, Pittsford and Greece.
Please note that in the event that your child misses a day of camp, we cannot pro-rate the price of the camp.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Our camps are NONREFUNDABLE once purchased. Up to 14 days prior to a camp’s start, you may transfer your enrollment to any camp at the Greece location, pending availability, or you may receive a credit to use at the Greece location for a future activity.

QUESTIONS
Q. Do you offer a discount for multiple children/multiple camp purchases?
A. No, we do not offer any discounts on our summer camps, other than our early bird rates. Our prices are as listed.
Q. Should my child bring anything?
A. Yes- a lunch and a water bottle. We have all the tech your child needs for a week of fun! Please LABEL all items you send with your child, including disposable water bottles, lunch bags, rain coats, etc.
Q. I have a special concern about my child- how can I convey this?
A. If your concern is something you want to share before registering, email our director (christy.mills@codeninjas.com)
Otherwise: you will receive a parent info form to complete! This is the best place to convey any concerns whether it be allergies, medical conditions, learning concerns, social concerns, etc. This is also a great place to tell us if your child has a friend they’re coming to camp with that they might want to sit near! We will use form info to ensure they have an epic time at camp!
Q. Do you offer late pickup/early drop off?
A. Unfortunately we cannot offer this option. If you have a special concern, please reach out to our director at christy.mills@codeninjas.com
Q. Are the age limits firm? Can my child attend one of the older camps?
A. We set our age limits to ensure everyone has a great time. However, if you think you have an exceptional circumstance, please reach out to our director at christy.mills@codeninjas.com
Q. Can my child come for just a half day?
A. You are welcome to pick your child up whenever, however the pricing of our camps will not be adjusted.
Q. Can my child use their own Roblox/Minecraft account?
A. For Minecraft Modding and Code Your Own Robot in Minecraft, we use a specific type of Minecraft account and will provide these accounts for the week. For Minecraft Redstone, you MUST provide your child with a Java Edition Minecraft Account. This may be an additional purchase of $25-$30, but you will get to keep that account forever. If you register for this camp, we will contact you about how to purchase the license.
For Roblox, your child is welcome to bring their own log-in, however many log-ins are protected by 2-factor authentication. If your child wants to use their OWN account, you will have to remain for 5-10 minutes at drop-off to ensure they can log-in.
Q. Can my child use their own laptop or bring their tablet or Switch?
A. We recommend all personal tech be left at home. Our camps require specific software which is already on our computers. Personal items like Nintendo Switches and iPads often serve as a distraction. However, we may grant special permission during the week for personal items to be brought in. Code Ninjas is not responsible for any damage caused to these items.
Q. How many staff members will be on site during a camp?
A. We always have at least two staff members on site. Should our camps sell to more than 15 participants, we would have a third staff member present for the entirety of that camp.
